Since 1941, Péguet has been cultivating its know how in the manufacture of quick links. Established in Annemasse in Haute Savoie, its 4000 m² factory is entirely given over to the production of quick links, mechanical connectors enabling chain, ropes, straps and many others to be joined together.
The manufacturing process is still substantially based on bar cutting, with a regional know how recognised world wide. The nut’s fitting onto the rod is a fundamental stage guaranteeing the quick links strength.
The quality assurance system set up with the raw materials suppliers, combined with manufacturing validated by strict self certification of the products determines an overall framework in terms of quality. Each product id identified by means of a specific marking making it traceable. The systematic indication of the working load is a guarantee of safe use.
The integration of the quick links in 1995, then in 2005, into European standards EN 12275, EN 362 concerning Personal Protection Equipment, is proof that they are absolutely recognised as being safety connectors.
To be appropriate to your requirements, this simple and universal product is available in a large number of diameters, shapes and alloy such as zinc plates steel, stainless steel, zicral alloy and solid brass.

Maillon rapide quick links are to be used as all-purpose connectors. Its particular shapes will be chosen accordingly for every specific use.
What about the early wear and tear of ropes and webbings resulting from friction? What about the ventral connection of quick links on harness?
Fitted with a 90 degree twist, the Twist Maillon Rapide is the answer for smoother P.P.E. connections in industrial safety: fall arrest systems, work restraint, work positioning, rope access, as well as in mountaineering, climbing, caving and canyoning.

» Dark black stainless steel maillons rapides
After the release of the dark black finishing on zinc plated steel, the dark coloured finishing is now available on stainless steel Maillons rapides quick links.
Based on the same process, the dark black finishing is made of a paint applied directly on the quick link at the very end of the manufacturing process, while leaving the marking fully visible.
Dark stainless steel Maillons rapides will allow further applications in outside areas, whenever unobtrusive equipment is required.

Péguet is now offering a special dark finishing on Maillons rapides quick links.
The dark black finishing is made of a paint applied on the zinc plated steel rod & nut at the very end of the manufacturing process.
This finishing provides a new alternative for facilities requiring non visible rigging in the Entertainment industry, Personal protective equipment, and the Defense.

The P.P.E. maillon rapide range now carries the UIAA label(International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation)
» Rated Load Max
We would like to inform you that marking for P.P.E.-certified Maillon rapide quick links now displays the Rated Load Max in KN for each item, in accordance with CE standards EN 362 and EN 12275.
Péguet decided to mark the large axis with its maximum load, instead of the former 25KN minimum breaking load required by standards CE EN 362 and EN 12275.
In doing so, Péguet allows you to use Maillon Rapide in an even safer way, as the Rated Load Max concept provides a useful knowledge of the real breaking load on every 21 items used in P.P.E.
